This is what I get from my friends as my birthday gift. I really appreciate it. It add on my collection of CECILIA AHERN's work.
It has different cover actually. And this one is not what I got from my friend.
Its about Lou and Gabe who busy with their own live and work until they forgot that they have a family. Especially Lou.
He really love his family but at the same time he think that his job also important to make sure his family live in comfortable life. He didn't realize that what his family really want is his existence within the family.
He always caught up in two different places but in the same time. So, he wish he can split up into two and full fill his duty. Until, he met Gabe and give Gabe work. He always see Gabe in two different places, both at the same time.
He manage two ask Gabe and Gabe give him a pill. The pill can split his self into two. One for his family and another one for his job. He enjoy the splitting until someday he found out that his time is near.
Gabe comes to him to give him the opportunity to find his family's love and enjoy his work.
I end up crying at this part. The part where he realize that he will leave his family.
One from himself make use the time by always beside his children and another one from his job had accident.
This is what people always want. To be at different places and do different things at the same time. Cecilia Ahern succesfully bring out the characters and the emotion within the characters.
I really like how Cecilia play with her words to make something like The Gift who is reachable by our imagination but it revolve in our daily life.
